A wonderful BRASS Body construction. Leica is known for the later lenses in black being ALUMINIUM and the Silver lenses made in BRASS. This is the desirable and outstanding construction BLACK and still BRASS body lenses.
Only a few early lenses such as the Noctilux 1.2, this 90mm Tele Elmarit were still black bodies and had the better, smoother brass body construction.

You can tell the use of this lens from any wear on the black finish and this one is really pretty!

Really a wonderful example of a fine lens. Small, sharp and typical of what Leica is known for. My favorite 90mm lens. Really a pleasure to have and enjoy!
