This is a very RARE and special lens coming out of the factory. Never intended to be sold. The rear group for focusing is distinctively different over the regular production. Probably some sort of a focusing / thread rear element prototype lens.

Even the 24 on the barrel is marked in a different FONT. 

UNIQUE and really something special.

The 24mm f2.8 are already a special lens. Ranging in the $1000+ ( non rom ) -$2000 ( ROM ) range.

Prototype lenses are each unique and fetch a premium.
