A great history and great features. The M3 is known to be THE BEST rangefinder camera of all time. Nice to have all original and if you are looking for an M3, the transitionals are the best to have with all the great early features, now with the newer speed dial.
As Leica later eliminated these features with the introduction and crossover parts and mechanism of the lesser built M2.
A true gem and once you touch & feel, hear the camera, and get to know the qualities of the early features, you will learn and appreciate how wonderful these cameras are.
A pleasure to have and enjoy!
