A desirable LATE # production, block style script after they closed the MIDLAND CANADA and took all the production ( except for the Noctilux 50mm f1 ) to Germany.
-Also designed by the famous Walter Mandler and considered this lens to be his FAVORITE lenses of all time.
Walter Mandler was known to be one of the most famous lens designer of all time and produced many, many fantastic and well known lenses in the Leica lineup.
